A Prayer for Patience

Heavenly Father, I come before You seeking the gift of patience in my life. Your Word in Galatians 5:22-23 reminds me, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” Help me, Lord, to cultivate this fruit of patience through Your Holy Spirit.

In moments of waiting, when my heart grows restless, teach me to trust in Your perfect timing. Grant me the strength to endure challenges with a calm and steadfast spirit, knowing You are working all things for my good.

Guide me to reflect Your love and grace, even in trials, and let patience be a testimony of my faith in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
