On the sixth day, God created the land animals and humankind.
According to Genesis 1:24-25,
God made the beasts of the earth, livestock, and everything that creeps on the ground, each according to its kind, and He saw that it was good. in Genesis 1:26-27, God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness,” and He created humankind—male and female—in His own image.
This is often interpreted as humanity being given a special role or status among creation, reflecting God’s nature in aspects like creativity, morality, and the capacity for relationship.
